2 July 2014 Ocean Salinity Science and Salinity Remote Sensing Workshop - Abstract extension deadline
The deadline for submitting an abstract for the SMOS+SOS Ocean Salinity Science and Salinity Remote Sensing Workshop has been extended until 31 July 2014. The workshop will be held at the Met Office, Exeter United Kingdom 26-28th November 2014. This has been organised by the ESA SMOS+ Surface Ocean Salinity project in conjunction with SMOS-MODE.
Our ambition is to have a meeting at which oceanographers meet with Earth observation specialists, ocean applications scientists and ocean modellers to explore the past, present and future of Ocean Salinity Science and set priorities for activities in the short and mid-term for further research and development. The outcomes will help guide research investment in the coming years. We hope you will be interested in participating, and would also appreciate your help in promoting the workshop within your community.
